When Shri Purohit Swami realized that a Law degree would not add anything to his spiritual enlightenment  he thought of not taking the final exams. "I thought it would mean wasted time, money and energy," he wrote. The Mahatma, however, insisted on his appearing for the final LL.B. Purohit Swami studied for the last three months for seven and half hours every day. It was endlessly tedious, but faith and self-control helped him to go through.
